Dr. Ronald Henry is the founder and beloved Executive Chairman of Cardiovascular Associates Limited (CVA). Under his stewardship CVA continues to be a leading Medical and Pharmaceutical enterprise serving our community for over 20 years and providing unique opportunities to its staff and fellow professional providers for career advancement.
Dr. Ronald Henry is a Board Certified Cardiologist, practising in both non-invasive and interventional cardiology at Doctors’ Inn Port of Spain, and at West Shore Medical Hospital where he is the Speciality Head of the cardiology Department, as well as the Medical Director of the Advanced Cardiovascular Institute (ACI) cath labs at the site.
Dr. Ronald Henry is recognized by a number of international societies, being: A Fellow of the American College of Physicians; A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology; A Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is a past President of the Caribbean Cardiac Society (CCS), and in 2009, Dr. Henry was awarded the Chaconia Medical Silver for his national contribution in the field of Cardiovascular Disease.
Dr. Paula A. Henry

Dr Paula Henry, fondly referred to as “Dr. Paula” by her staff and community is the founder and past Medical Director of the Family Practice Group at CVA Limited. Under her stewardship, Doctors’ Inn was established as the premier medical clinic serving Port of Spain and environs and leading in Family Medicine. Dr. Paula served as the Head of the Family Practice Group at Doctors’ Inn for over 20 years, during which time her dedication and commitment to service excellence to her community was engraved into the culture of the organization. Today, though Dr Paula is retired from clinical practice, Doctors’ Inn continues to exude her philosophy of “Total Client Satisfaction”.
Dr Paula Henry graduated from the University of the West Indies, Mona Jamaica in 1980. She was awarded her MBA in 2009, from Heriot Watt University UK. Dr Henry had a leadership role from the inception of CVA Ltd in 1996. She developed a strong group practice with a cadre of General Practitioners, now more commonly referred to as Family Physicians. Following her departure from clinical practice, her daughter Dr Nikki Henry is now at the helm.
Dr. Paula’s love for primary care has since led her to pursue a Master of Public Health at UWI St Augustine. Her research entails forging a link between air pollution and negative health impacts. She is known to have remarked: “The most vulnerable in society would be affected, but it is the life of the unborn, that is the focus of my attention.”
Dr Paula Henry’s work and contribution to her community is far from over. As the Founder and Director of The HaiT&T Foundation, she has been instrumental in steering the ship on a journey to aid in the rebuilding of Haiti’s society post the devastating 2010 earthquake. The HaiT&T Foundation saw the recent completion of the school and care homes for Internat St Madeleine, Haiti, which was designed to provide a holistic educational experience for 600 children. Dr Paula’s continued efforts into projects such as this is just another manifestation of the importance that she places on the quality of life.
