What are your opening hours?
Our clinic hours are as follows:
- Doctors’ Inn Central Port of Spain – Mon to Fri 7:00am to 6:00pm, Sat 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Doctors’ Inn West Diego Martin – Mon to Fri 8:00am to 4:00pm, Sat 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays

Do you offer X-rays and Mammograms?
Doctors’ Inn does not offer radiology services at this time. Please see our Services page for the list of procedures we currently offer.
Do I need a referral letter?
A written referral letter from a Doctor is required for all diagnostic procedures and for first-time appointments with our Specialists. You may see our Home page to upload your referral.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are required for most of our services, however, same day appointments can be accommodated based on availability. You may see our Appointments page to schedule an appointment online.
Do you provide TeleHealth services?
Yes. Doctors’ Inn provides online video consultations for some of our services. You may see our Telemedicine page for further details and to make an appointment.
Do you have parking available?
Yes. Onsite patient parking is available at both our Port of Spain and Diego Martin locations.
What is the turnaround time for test results/medical reports?
Our cardiology procedures are carefully reviewed and reported by highly qualified Specialists. The turnaround time for these results is 7-10 working days. However results may be expedited when our capacity to do so allows.
Do you accept insurance cards?
Yes. We accept all insurance cards, making it easier for our patients to enjoy real-time claims processing. You can visit our Insurance Cards page for further information.
Do you have a Doctor that sees children?
Yes. Doctors’ Inn Family Practice Group provides general Pediatric services. We also have a Board Certified Pediatrician in house . You may see our Doctors & Specialists page for more information and to schedule an appointment.
Please note that all children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Do you have a Dentist?
Dental Services are coming soon. Stay tuned for more information.
Do you do home visits?
Yes. Our Family Practice Group provides home visit services. You can submit your request via our online Message option and a Customer Service agent will contact you.
Can I send someone to collect my results on my behalf?
Yes. Any person collecting a document on behalf of a patient must have written authorization from the patient and a copy of the patient’s valid ID to verify signature.
Do you offer food badge medicals?
Yes. Our Family Practice Group offers food badge medical services. You may see our Family Medicine page for further information.
Do you offer COVID 19 testing?
Doctors’ Inn is not a designated site for general COVID 19 testing. If you suspect that you may have been exposed to COVID 19, you should visit your nearest designated Health Centre for guidance on testing.
Do you offer Pap Smears?
Yes. Our Family Practice Group offers Pap Smear services. Pap Smears are performed by our Family Practice Group Doctors. Professional fees and Pap Smear fees are charged separately. Do you offer vaccinations?
Yes. Doctors’ Inn offers the usual schedule of vaccinations. You can send us your request via our online Message option and we would be sure to get back to you.
Do you sell or backdate medical certificates (sick leave)?
No. Doctors’ Inn does not sell or backdate medical certificates. If you are ill, you can see one of our Doctors who may issue a medical certificate based on your condition at the time of the visit.
Do you offer drug testing?
Yes. Doctors’ Inn provides drug testing. All persons wishing to have a drug test must present valid identification. All employer requests must be accompanied by a referral form.
Do you offer ultrasound services?
Yes. Doctors’ Inn offers ultrasound services at both our Port of Spain and Diego Martin locations. You may see our Services page for more information and to make an appointment.
Do you offer Executive Medical services?
Yes. The Doctors’ Inn Executive Medical Programme offers three comprehensive packages to cater to your medical needs. You can visit our Executive Medical Programme page for more information and to request an appointment.
Do you perform induced abortions?
No, Doctors’ Inn does not perform pregnancy terminations.
